The VRM-CR8-XX is a 4U x 84HP 19” rack mountable CompactPCI chassis, fully compliant with 1IEEE 101.10/.11 specifications. The backplane is a 5-slot ,fully PICMG 2.0 Rev 3.0 compliant, 64bit/66MHz with VIO select ability.

It supports up to 5 x 6U cPCI cards and rear I/O. It accommodates up to 3 x 3U P47 hot swappable power supplies on the left side. It provides side-to-side cooling by a front removable/hot swappable fan tray with front fan fail LED.

The VRM-CR8-XX offers the unique feature of 3 hot swappable Hard Drive carriers and supports 3 SCA type hard drive SCSI Ultra 320. This allow for RAID 0, 1 and 5 for redundancy. The 3 connectors comply with SPI-4, T10 project 1365D.

The backplane provides IPMB0 and IPMB1 connectors and ID select switch for each hard drive. The unit is RoHS and WEEE compliant.
