VRM-CC6-X and VRM-CC0 (3U Peripherals Products)

This product is obsolete and not recommended for new projects. The VRM-CC6-X Super I/O module is available as a companion board to the VRM-CC5, VRM-CC7 and VRM-CC8. The VRM-CC6-X is provided with the most common legacy I/O ports of a classic PC. Interconnection between the VRM-CC6-X I/O module and the VRM-CC5/VRM-CC7/VRM-CC8 CPU board is achieved by the LPC (Low Pin Count) interface. The VRM-CC6-X communicates to the host CPU by means of the LPC interface. This is a multiplexed ISA bus, enabling the super-I/O controller chip to emulate the legacy I/O interfaces. VRM-CC0 provides MIDI and joystick attachment, and control lines for fans with either tachometer output or pulse width modulation input.
