The VRM-NSPM-5000 is a single slot AdvancedTCA module suitable for high performance packet processing applications including security gateway, edge router, 3G wireless and WiMAX. Combined with industry leading performance Cavium OCTEON™ Plus multi-core processors provides maximum 20Gbps performance and enables flexible network interfaces. In addition, intelligent traffic control for OCTEON™ processors by high-performance fabric switch provides superior system flexibility for fault isolation and data path reconfiguration. NSPM-5000 is compliant with PICMG 3.1 option 1 and 9. Features:
