The VRM-AMC-503 processor module is a power-efficient Processor module implemented as a single mid-size advanced mezzanine card (AMC) according to AMC.0 R2.0 specification. The module is optimized for use in high-density telecommunication systems, Advanced-TCA carrier boards, industrial automation systems and can be applied to any application that requires high x86 computing power and multithreaded computation in a very small form-factor with moderate power consumption.
The VRM-AMC-503 design is based on intel core2 Quad architecture CPU. Being comprised by two Core2 Duo cores, Core2 Quad CPU doubles the performance of a typical dual-core solution and demonstrates maximum power efficiency.
Core2 Quad CPUs are manufactured using the latest progressive 45-nm process and equipped with 4*64kb L1 cache, up to 2x3MB L2 cache shared between cores, and operate at 800MHz FSB frequency. Features:
• CPU Intel Core2 Quad running at 1,2GHz;
• server-class Intel 3100 chipset with 800MHZ FSB;
• registered memory with ECC support and capacity up to 2GB;
• on-board SATA SSD drive with capacity up to 64GB (read rate: 105MB/s, write rate: 75MB/s);
• high-speed PCI Express x8 interface or two independent PCI Express x4/x1 interfaces;
• two Gigabit Ethernet channels(speed 1Gbit/s);
• two SATA channels(speed 1,5Gbit/s);
• one USB 2.0 port(speed 480Mbit/s);
• one COM-port;
• form-factor AMC Mid-Size.
