The VRM-AMC-201 storage module is implemented as a single full-size or single mid-size advanced mezzanine card (AMC) according to AMC.0 R2.0 specifications. The module is optimized for use in telecommunication systems, industrial automation systems, multiprocessor systems, storage systems and can be applied to any application that requires to store data before further processing.
The module is capable of carrying a standard 2.5” serial-ATA HDD, providing up to 500GB of storage. The VRM-AMC-201 contains two serial-ATA channels for interaction with other modules within the MicroTCA/AdvancedTCA system. The module contains a serial-ATA switch allowing to choose the appropriate channel. The channel could be selected manually (using onboard configuration switch) or automatically via IPMI subsystem. The front panel contains two LEDs providing current active channel indication. Features:
• Hard Disk Drive (HDD) with capacity up to 500GB, speed up to 3Gbit/s (SATAII);
• two SATA or SATAII channels, speed up to 3Gbit/s;
• switch for channel switching;
